Why Using a Sample Resume as Reference is Helpful 

By using a sample resume you are giving yourself a visual reference to work off of.  This way you are not staring at a blank piece of paper wondering where to begin.

A sample resume will offer you suggestions on different layouts and designs. However, I do suggest that if you use a free sample resumes, try to find a sample resume for the position or field you are looking for, even look at a few.  This will also allow you to see what types of qualifications and skills that potential employers are looking for as well as give you some ideas on writing your objective. 

Always keep in mind that most places that offer you a sample resume to view have had them submitted by either trained professionals who write resumes for a living or successful job seekers in those industries, so it will give you an inside view of what will get you closer to an interview. So remember, no matter how you look at it, using a sample resume as a reference along with any other tool available, can only beneficial in the end.
