Career History
ATRADIUS UK – Developer/Project Co-ordinator (ITS) - September 2006 to July 2010
Atradius is a Credit Insurance Company that provides credit protection solutions to suit all 
sizes and types of enterprises. 
 
Project Work
Involved in development, testing, data analysis and coordination of the WebSphere upgrade project to upgrade the existing infrastructure from version 5.1 to 6.1. Needed to test and amend any application changes required, coordinate and request data loads for testing purposes from the Information Sources and liaise with Quality Assurance and Web Management teams. 
Recently involved in testing, data analysis and coordination of the Reports Database Migration to Oracle 10g. Coordinated with the 8 Information Sources, Quality Assurance team members and DBA’s for several data loads of all different types of buyer reports to be downloaded and processed into the Reports Database, which were then used as tests for performance, configuration and functionality.
Previously created and coordinated several reference data forms for project work, which the Business and Quality Assurance still use on a daily basis.
 
Buyer Underwriting System - Organisation Application
Responsible for the completion and coordination of Incidents raised by the Business as part of the Maintenance Team for the Organisation Application.
Development using PL/SQL, XML/XSLT, Oracle Webforms is carried out daily to resolve Incidents. Once the work is developed, keep in   contact and interact with the Quality Assurance testing team as the work is migrated through the test environments using steps like Unit testing to control the risks and eventually into the production system. 
Converse with Web Management, Lead Developers, Project Managers, contacts at Information Sources and the relevant business users of the Information Source where he has built up a good working relationship. 
Select, complete and coordinate Incidents on the basis of priority according to business need and skill. Control the progress of his own work in relation to Incidents.
Due to the large number of Incidents assigned there has been the need to converse regularly and accurately on progress of work to interested parties which includes Business, Managers and Quality Assurance. 
Used his own PL/SQL scripts to run ad-hoc credit limit lists on a regular basis for the Business whenever needed. 
 
Bulk Information - Websphere Applications
Responsible for the completion and coordination of Incidents raised by the Business, day to day bug fixing and data analysis of the 8 WebSphere Applications that provide buyer organisation data to Atradius through an Information Source.
Development and maintenance of the report stylesheets using XML/XSLT. He has created two XSLT stylesheets which are still in use by the Business to display Italian buyer data and performed many maintenance fixes on several other stylesheets.
Investigation needed if any of the Application links and scheduled daily jobs should fail. This is resolved by checking the Application logs and Oracle 10g Reports Database to identify if it’s a data, configuration or code issue. Liaise with the relevant Information Source and/or Web Management and if a code fix is needed carry out the amendment to the XSLT stylesheet, PL/SQL or Java code.
Liaise and coordinate with Information Sources to provide the correct data for analysis and testing purposes in the test environments whenever needed, especially when a development fix is in progress. 
ATRADIUS UK – Trainee Developer (ITS) – September 2005 to September 2006
During his developer training   attended Oracle courses and had in-house coaching to learn and develop my practical knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms using designer and Forms Builder. Gained experience of transferring this knowledge into the Atradius workplace to be of benefit to the Business working on projects with other developers and the testing team. 
ATRADIUS UK – Project Co-ordinator (ITS) – March 2003 to September 2005 
Worked in ITS for the Project Support Office as a Project Co-ordinator where he was assigned to a number of large and small projects simultaneously. This role involved providing information and support from and to the project managers, project teams and management according to set procedures throughout the project life cycle. Needed to ensure that each project followed the governance and standards process and the necessary documentation was completed correctly and on time. Main duties included – 
Developing and maintaining a detailed project schedule to ensure all deliverables are delivered on time and within budget. 
Facilitating project meetings, preparing and completing any minutes/presentations that were needed. Ensure that all necessary issues raised at the meetings are followed up.
Working with the project managers to produce the project plan, maintain budget control and assign necessary resources. 
Using organisational, planning and time management skills on a daily basis, especially when working on multiple projects at the same time. 
Responsible for updating and tracking any project changes. 
Ensure the completion and distribution of all project documentation and reporting was carried out on time. 
Dealing with any project related queries and undertaking Project Office administration duties.
 
 
 
ATRADIUS UK – Recovery Officer – August 2002 to March 2003 
Responsible for approximately 500 UK and Ireland claims/recovery cases in the Claims/Recoveries Department. Needed to make decisions based on the amount of information available and liaise with buyers, customers, staff within Atradius and Insolvency Practitioners to ensure a successful recovery outcome for the customer.
