PERSONAL STATEMENT
I have recently just finished working for the internationally renowned company Alloy Yachts International were I worked as aDesigner for super yachts for a period of over two years. With first class honours in a Bachelor of design and three years experience within the design industry I have gained a high level of expertise. I have currently moved overseas to develop and extend my range of skills and gain overseas experience within the Design industry. I have strong hand rendering, sketching, conceptualising and 3D modelling skills that I have utilised to create unique and aesthetically pleasing designs.
EMPLOYMENT

Alloy Yachts design, engineer and produce custom super yachts and are considered to be one of the world’s leading super yacht manufactures. My primary role within the company was to design many areas of the yachts through the use ofUnigraphics NX 3D modelling software. Then produce workshop drawings that were issued to the floor for production. I would oversee my projects of involvement from initial design through to production.
Key Achievements
• 80% of my time at Alloy was working on Vertigo, a 68 meter ketch that is currently the largest super yacht built by the yard and built in New Zealand. Due to be launched in January 2011.
• I have worked on four separate yachts ( Imagine II, Vertigo, Loretta Anne, AY44) and have been a part of four successful launches.(Mondango, Loretta Anne, Imagine II, Kokomo)
• With strong sketching, conceptualising and styling skills I was a first choice for jobs requiring aesthetic styling. In particular I was responsible for the design of the fly bridge helm station on the 68m ketch Vertigo.
• With two years experience within the company using Unigraphics NX 3D modelling software I have gained a high level of expertise with the program.
• I joined the company when the new 3D modelling software was introduced and helped develop and structure the companies modelling procedures.
• I had a large variety of jobs working on both sail and motor yachts that were completed within set time frames and produced on the floor.

Formworks are a custom product design company creating innovative designs from concept through to production. My primary role within the company was to conceptualise, sketch and present concepts to clients that were developed through to final stages.
Key Achievements
• Creating concepts for well-established companies Frucor (V Energy Drink) and Dominate (male hair products). Initial concepts were well received allowing for further development.
• I worked on a variety of jobs covering displays, packaging, storage and individual unique projects. All using my sketching, rendering and presentation skills to convey concepts and ideas to clients.
Key Skills
• 3D modelling Unigraphics NX(2 years), Team Centre, AutoCAD (used at Alloy Yachts), Photoshop, Concepts Unlimited, Microsoft Office, Max Surf, Alias Sketch, PC & MAC capable.
• Sketching, hand rendering (markers, pastels etc.), Technical drawing, public speaking/presentations.
• I am hard working and always place one hundred percent of my abilities into my work continually expanding and developing my range of skills. Taking a hand on approach in life makes me confident within trade work being able to adapt my problem solving skills and hard working ethics into any particular line of work I partake in. I am punctual, honest, strong minded, social person who has leadership qualities being able to relate to and work alongside others to be part of a successful team.
