At work and at home I have been responsible for the installation of a wide range of software and hardware. In addition, I have a basic understanding of web, I am designing a website and blog for each of my writing and digital photography projects. I use Adobe Photoshop to process my own digital photography.

Written and Verbal Communication:
I have written well from an early age, and my verbal skills have been built through experience throughout my career. I have always excelled at report-writing, note-taking and am in demand as an unqualified proofreader.
Having completed my first crime novel and now writing my second, I am seeking a literary agent to represent my work. I am also in the research and photography stage of producing a series of 'then and now' photobooks relating to cult film shooting locations.

Financial Management:
Whilst taking a career break to write my first novel (April 2001-October 2006) I ran the financial side of my home whilst my partner went out to work.
Whilst self-employed as a Licensed Taxi-driver (March 1991-December 1994), I ran my own business with regard to all financial, publicity and legal matters.

Research:
Be it using the internet, the Family Records Office, the local reference library, I enjoy research projects, using initiative and following my own or laid down methods of approach. As well as work-related statistical research I have also researched the following projects: criminology, for my own written work; family history research; and various household matters (such as planning permissions, property deeds, etc).

Personal Qualities:
I have a keen eye for detail and insist on my own high standards of work. I enjoy being an effective, approachable member of the team, helping to deliver high quality results ahead of deadlines. My standards of written and verbal communication have been developed over many years experience of working directly for and with people. I am also happy to be left alone to complete a task to my own high standards using my initiative.
