Career objective 

Looking for a challenging position of the Universal Banker Resume the reputed University with a view to use my wide experience for the benefit of the organization.

I worked part time whilst I continued studying at sixth form as a Universal Agent dealing with incoming calls. I had to provide fantastic customer services and but the main part of my job was to quote and sell car insurance policies. I worked there for eleven months and when I left the company I was the top sales agent in the company despite only working part time hours.

 

Whilst at Hastings Direct I was also accredited with the CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) that I had been trained to sell and administer general insurance and had completed my training re. Financial Services Authority etc.

 

I left Hastings Direct to go travelling.

 

Portman Building Society November 2006 - August 2007

 

I worked at Portman Building Society as cashier. Once again I gained experience delivering great customer services. I dealt with customers face to face and learnt cash management skills. I was targeted to open savings accounts and increase our net savings balance. I was also targeted to find and meet customers' needs with mortgage and financial services appointments.

 

I left Portman Building Society after they merged with Nationwide Building Society as I felt I would have a better chance of career progression in a larger financial institution

 

Barclays Bank PLC September 2007 - Present

 

I joined Barclays as a personal banker. Since joining I have become the top performing seller in my area (Mid Kent) and have continuously met and exceeded the targets set for me. I have a range of products including current accounts, savings, loans, credit cards and various insurances, including life insurance and income insurance on a non advised basis. I am targeted on booking mortgage and financial services appointments.

 

I have been highly trained to completed fact finds with customers and to have detailed, meaningful conversation regarding customers finances and am very successful in the Personal Banking role.

 

I have regular customers who come back to me for reviews on a regular basis and I am targeted on cross sales and understand the importance of compliance and this is very highly thought of within the bank.

 

I have decided to leave Barclays because at the moment despite my success in my role and having made the company aware I wish to progress there is currently no options to advance my career. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

CII Accredited (Chartered Insurance Institute) May 2005

CeMAP (Certificate or Mortgage advice and Practice) June 2008 - I decided to study for CeMAP independently and funded the qualification myself as I have always been interested in Mortgages and helping customers achieving their dreams e.g. their dream home.

 

INTERESTS

 

My husband is Turkish and therefore we try to visit family and friends in Istanbul at least once per year. I love travelling and exploring. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am a keen Arsenal Fan and drive my own car.
