I managed the logistics and warehouse team with the overall responsibly for the distribution of all automotive parts manufactured from the Brownhills plant. With a transport budget of 20 million pa this was performed using a just in time delivery process across Europes leading car manufacturers such as Volvo Jaguar and Visteon. My role involved all logistics and warehousing activities including: 
 
Meeting customer KPIs and operating to tight JIT processes 
Responsible for all internal and external transport budgets 
Effective delegation of warehouse duties to a team of ten and ensure the logistics and warehouse team were equipped to perform as requested this involved appraisals and PDPs
Management of the inventory control system and despatch service systems to ensure stock accuracy data is maintained utilising FIFO principles 
Maintained suppliercustomer internet systems to ensure that accurate and cost effective packaging ordering data is available 
Responsible for the provision of correct UK and European transport documentation such as ATR
Maintain and develop effective communication with customers and their logistics companies such as DHL and EWALS
Implemented the QS9000 quality standard throughout the Warehouse and Logistics 
Administered and audited the customer and supplier advice note control system to ensure accurate schedule control of data
