Member (Partner) of LLP Architectural Practice with offices in Nottingham, Newark and Leeds. Responsible for running small London Office of Practice. Works undertaken include: Newmarket Community Leisure Centre in comprising main swimming pool (25m), training pool, health and fitness suites and all associated ancillary accommodation. New entrance, offices and all weather pitch for adjacent school building (Newmarket College). Refurbishment works to floors 9-13, Main Tower Building, London Metropolitan University. New Letters Centre and refurbishment works to Royal Mail Headquarters at Rathbone Place, London. Office Headquarters for Lighterlife at Harlow. Design proposals for the conversion of a Wren Church Tower in London to a residential property. Winning competition entry for a new Mathematics Building at Nottingham University.

Three one-off houses and various refurbishment/minor works projects to residential properties in and around London.
1992-97 Orwell Design, Practice Principal
Principal of small architectural practice which employed four full-time staff. Works undertaken include: A major office extension (including refurbishment works) to Eastern Group Headquarters Building at Wherstead in . Various minor works projects for the same client. A commission to prepare a (successful) report to contest the proposed listing of a post-war industrial building near Cambridge upon behalf of CIBA Composites Ltd. Site development proposals for the same Client. A residential care home in and a number of domestic properties. Provision of project management services to a national telecommunications firm based in Cambridge (Ionica).

Works undertaken include: A major retail development including leisure facility, 'The Hart Centre' at Fleet in Hampshire for Bredero Projects Ltd. Design proposals for the second phase of the Grafton Shopping Centre in Cambridge for Grosvenor Developments Ltd.
1985-87 Covell Matthews Wheatley Architects Ltd, Cambridge Senior Project Architect
Works undertaken include: 4 no 'High Tech' industrial/warehouse units, 'Centre 4' at Watford Business Park for Carroll Group Ltd and a fit-out for McLaren International Ltd at Woking in Surrey. Design proposals for a distribution centre at Newport Pagnell for Burtons plc and a phased office development including computer centre, restaurant and sports facilities at Milton Keynes for Scicon (UK) Ltd. Office developments at Luton and Northampton. A distribution warehouse at Wickford. 17 no industrial units at Hemel Hempstead and 48 no flats in Cambridge.
1983-85 Perrin Architects, Cambridge Project Architect
Works undertaken include: The design, development and marketing of the 'Tartan' modular building system from initial concept to completion of the prototype units - an office development at Bury St Edmunds for Midland Bank plc and speculative hi-tech industrial units also at Bury St Edmunds for Willhire Ltd.
1974-83 Peterborough Development Corporation Project Architect
Works undertaken include: 44 no 'Mini' factories and 49 no residential units.
