Due to the multidisciplinary nature of Atkins I have worked within offices and project teams in many different locations, these include Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Oman.
Oversee and manage documentation produced in conjunction with the GDC, Atkins office in Bangalore, India.
Duties Include:
Producing Feasibility Reports, Bid information and attending initial client meetings.
Composing details, working drawings, NBS specifications and schedule of works for tender & construction issue.
Attending meetings with consultants and contractors through to practical completion.

Design development for a world class MRO facility with provision for a large variety of commercial and military rotary and fixed wing aircraft including all support facilities. 
Assisting in the design and production of concept site layouts and master planning documentation. 
Job Architect in the detailed design and coordination of all support buildings on site, these include; Ground Support Equipment Building, Training Facility, Hazardous Materials Building and Security buildings. 
Working within Dubai & Abu Dhabi Atkins offices to ensure coordination between all design team disciplines and attending client workshop meetings. 
Presenting building designs at client meetings held at Abu Dhabi Military head quarters.

Relocation of existing Military 902 Facility to new location in Musanah, Oman. 
Visiting an existing UK Military base at Seeb in Oman to collect design and space allocation data.
Assisted in the preparation of concept design & masterplan layouts.
Responsible for the design development and coordination of the mess and welfare facilities. Attended specialist client group meetings from concept stage through to tender and construction documentation issue.

Refurbishment to the fabric and services of an existing facility such that they will be able to continue providing a critical resource until 2030.
Working with the client and users in the detailed design development of the facility. 
Coordinating detailed information with AWE representatives and Atkins Mechanical / Electrical and Structural design team in the production of tender and construction documentation.

Developing initial site concepts and methods for retaining a proportion of the existing stock following the revised government spending review.

Develop & submit a detailed feasibility report to suit the clients brief.
Oversee the preparation of tender documentation in conjunction with Atkins office in Bangalore. Coordination included the production of drawings, NBS specification and schedules.
Liaise with sub-contractor suppliers in the detailed design of partition and storage elements.
Attend fortnightly meetings during construction with the contractor, project manager and design team.
