I was part of Data cleansing and Data harmonisation team for six months where my role was to create validations, branch validations, and group validations depending up on the client requirements on the data in the data manager. Created Validations on qualifiers, taxonomy attributes and different levels of data. Imported and syndicated data by mapping appropriate fields via map files through import and Syndicator manager.
I was also involved in designing various plans by using various components of Infomatica.
Along with the project work client want to evaluate my skills on MDM by giving various task and the task I did are as follow:
Installed Master Data Management components such as Data Manager, Import Server, Import Manager, MDM Syndication Server, Import Server, MDM Console, and MDM Syndicator. Configure all MDM components created repositories and UN archived A2A files provided from SAP Business contents. Created users, ports and so on.
Data modeling in Console by Creating user define tables and fields such as look up, taxonomy,hierarchy, qualified,flat and so on. Created client systems, ports (Inbound/Outbound),users and so on in Admin node of Console.
Importing data in to data manager by Importing attributes, linked attributes, text values of taxonomy, hierarchy,loop up and so on. Data imported in to import manager through port mechanism and file formats such as excel,access,xml,csv.
Created validations on various field levels, mearged data, simple work flows in data manager of MDM.
Connected MDM system Repositories to SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal 6.0 and published vender,material,customer data in Enterprise Portal depending up on user logins.
