A consistently varied role responsible for the management of seven mobile technicians; supervising the repair and maintenance of over 700 vehicles nationwide. Develops and maintains customer relationships for such clients as Asda, Tesco, DHL/Exel, Royal Mail and Ryder etc. As department supervisor I have complete control over all the departmental administration, ensuring monthly/yearly budgetary targets are achieved. Sourcing and negotiating supplier rates to maximize budgetary control; liasing with technicians to implement supplier changes. Communicates and facilitates senior management business changes and adopts a proactive approach to enable these changes to be fully rolled out. Developed technical skills in new areas including refridgeration, bulk tankers, fork lifts, light/heavy recovery and specialist welding. Deputises for departmental manager as well as the bodyshop and the service department during absences. Completes and monitors weekly wage sheets and challenge technicians on any anomalies. Carry out quotations on repairs and major projects, negotiate with suppliers to gain the best overall cost for the customer and successfully manage the projects through to completion. Monitor and escalate any disciplinary issues to seniormanagement, provide detailed explanations of the issue and participate in any action taken.

As part of a team of two, responsible for the complete administration of a workshop selling over 3000 labor hours per month. Technical knowledge gained whilst in the role. Challenged technicians on work descriptions and productivity issues. Solely responsible for processing warranty claims, checking and recording payment queries etc. Liaising with Scania GB on a weekly basis to arrange warranty parts return and disposal, working with the parts dept to dispose of the parts. Sole administrator for the Tail Lift Dept, developing new systems and processes as it had only been formed recently. Once the Tail Lift department processes were set up I was able to continue and maintain the departments budgetary parameters and maximise where possible. Provide service reception cover as required.
