Appointed to set up and manage a brand new world class automated chemical drumming plant as part of 1.1 million Euro investment following award of contract to drum and distribute 100,000 tonnes of packed chlorinated solvents p.a.
Recruited all staff, both administrative and operational (headcount 15)
Oversaw successful transition from project to live operation.
Instrumental role in company winning new business in August 2009 with award of new contract to drum 35,000 tonnes of chlorinated paraffin group of products.
Responsible for ‘just in time’ operation of high volume packing and distribution business operating 24 hours weekdays and weekends.
Accountable for all KPI and SLA targets including measurement and reporting direct to customer.
Planned all operations in line with optimum efficiency requirements as specified by the customer including controlling stock levels to support sales targets and forecasts.

Managed site operations in compliance with ISO9001: 2000 and IS accreditations achieving zero non-conformances at annual quality audit in February 2008.
Successfully integrated new business projects with combined turnover value of 250,000. 
Negotiated cost savings of over 5,000 p.a. ongoing when rearranging annual maintenance contracts.
Improved stock control, despatch systems and re-organised storage areas.
Led project to transfer agency distribution and toll packing contracts from Stratford site to  site.
