Prior to this, he worked on the USAID funded Economic Policy Reform Project in Almaty, Kazakhstan, strengthening capacity in SME statistics. As part of this role, Mr. Pullon was responsible for developing and implementing data collection tools, reviewing and developing a new survey and analytical processes compliant with international standards. Immediately before this, he worked as official statistics advisor on the USAID funded Economic/Fiscal Policy Reform project in Montenegro, where he completed implementing a new balance of payments system for Montenegro based on the latest international standards. He was responsible for implementing an update of the national accounting system that had recently been identified by the United Nations and World Bank as being urgently required. He also provided consultancy services to develop the Qatari Statistics Office in line with the broader public sector development project in that country.
