The nature of this work demands flexibility and this is demonstrated by my involvement with Project Duties. I have to be pro active and acceptable to change at very short notice and as a result of this my assistance has been requested on many occasions. I have been required to work with large staffed teams and I constantly kept in touch with their needs and shared practices to achieve objectives

When I was working on the Contacts and Relationships Database, I was asked to make sure the information database was kept correct and up to date. Eventually I achieved results from each of the teams and all colleagues now keep details ready for me to action

I communicate with colleagues on a regular basis and I chose to arrange work shadowing sessions with DeputyDirector’s Personal Assistants to broaden my knowledge of new administrative secretarial systems and procedures. I successfully achieved this and as a result have been invited to PA Network Meetings as an observer with a view to developing an Events Diary to be used by Deputy Regional Directors and Team Leaders

I have enjoyed the challenge of managing work/home priorities to achieve higher standards and also to have the opportunity to learn new skills by becoming involved with new areas of work.
