Looking for a challenging position of the Administrative Assistant the reputed University with a view to use my wide experience for the benefit of the organization.
Position PA to Ofsted Social Care Inspector – part time
Dates 11/12/2006 - present
Main Duties
Supporting the inspector in all her duties.
Responsible for maintaining and updating the calendar.
Scheduling inspections at appropriate times of year to ensure deadlines are met.
Reorganising in order to accommodate meeting and training event requests via Outlook, as well as sickness or personal appointments.
On inspections, meetings and training events I have been responsible for;
ensuring all relevant travel requirements are met
arranging overnight stays
arranging for relevant documentation and other required materials to be taken to events
recording, in note format, details of observations, interviews and records. This involves making an informed/educated decision regarding what needs to be recorded.
Typing and proof of reports and emails.
Responsible for confidential documents, including shredding and disposal of.
Responsible for updating expenses and applying for leave.
Position PA to Director of Mills Marketing - part time
Dates 04/08/2010 – 24/12/2010 (made redundant)
Main Duties
Researching and organising events.
Diary management.
Assisting and implementing Mills Marketing Social Media, PR, Advertising, Email Marketing, Direct Mail, Products and Services, Search Engine Optimisation and Branding.
Assisting and implementing of client’s action plans.
Direct line of support for all clients.
Telemarketing & telesales for Mills marketing.
Ad Hoc duties as required.
Position Sales Ledger Clerk for SPX Process Equipment
Dates 18/06/2004 – 08/12/2006 (left for part time work to complete degree)
Main Duties
Solely responsible for running invoicing and credit notes; ensuring all invoices are coded, input correctly, balanced to the control account and sent out to customers.
Solely responsible for the commission ledger; liaising with agents, raising requisitions and reconciling control account.
Working within a credit control team to ensure debtors days are attained to; chasing payments for up to 1000 live accounts ranging between 20 - 1.5m, dealing with sales departments regarding customer queries, running overdue letters and final notices, correspondence with Newbury County Court regarding litigation, running credit checks on Dunn & Bradstreet credit analysis software, opening and amending new accounts.
Responsible for allocating payments to accounts within 6 company divisions; dealing with 3 different Banks each with accounts for GBP, Euro and US, and month end reconciliations to the control account.
Adhering to Sarbanes Oxley procedures.
Other duties include stationary orders and archiving.
Work history between 1999 and 2004 is also accountancy based, with a similar job description to that above. Details of company names and employment dates can be made available on request.

I enjoy problem solving and being organised, both in my personal life and in a working capacity. I am well known for these qualities amongst my friends and colleagues.
