I have an experience of more than 18 years in the field of Radiology, encompassing both the clinical & educational aspects.I worked in this field at different levels in teaching hospitals of department of Health, Govt.of Sindh,Pakistan.After passing the postgraduate exam. I competed the public service exam. & was appointed as an Specialist Radiologist at Sindh Govt.Qattar Hospital,Karachi,Pakistan. I went to and did 9 months clinical attachment at Royal Free Hospital, .and did fellowship exam FRCR-1 & cleared 5/6 modules of Final FRCR(2A) and preparing to take final FRCR exam in near future.
I am seeking a job that will help augment my skills in this area and being a fast learner am intrested in enhancing my knowledge.

WORKING EXPERIENCE
Supernumery Registrar (July 2004 to March 2005) I worked as an honorary registrar in the department of Radiology at Royal Free Hospital,
Have been rotated to all of sections with consultant and was involved in conventional and contrast studies of plain X-rays, U/S, C.T Neurology as well as interventional radiology.
RADIOLOGIST

I worked as a consultant Radiologist in the government hospital for more than 5 years. It was a teaching hospital with fully equipped X- and Ultrasound units. More than 60 patients were
scanned Sono-graphically daily and over 100 being X-rayed. All the conventional
as well as contrast studies were performed routinely.
I am competent in reporting X-rays and Ultrasounds. I worked on image intensifier for various studies and demonstrated the procedures to under-graduates.
POSTGRADUATE TRAINING
As a residential medical officer in the Department of Radiology I learned to and performed all the diagnostic procedures e.g. I.V.P, Injecting urethrogram, Micturating cystogram , Tubecholangiogram, Myelography and different barium studies on image intensifier, Hysterosalpingiography etc. I had 6 weeks training in scintigraphy and scan. During this training period, I have gained experience in writing reports with accurate descriptions and diagnosis.
MEDICAL OFFICER ARMED FORCES
During my service period in the Army/ Air force as a medical officer, I worked at PAF Base Hospital and Field- Hospitals. During this period I attended clinics, worked in pathology labs- department and regularly involved in teaching.
HOUSE OFFICER
During rotational training in Plastic surgery & Burns department, I was responsible for patient's management and under supervision of senior doctors I learned minor surgical procedures e.g. Skin grafting as well as the management of associated complications.

ADMINISTRATION
As Head of the Department I was responsible for the whole administration of the department, alongside supervising junior doctors and radiographers. I attended Clinical meetings with consultants of other department and was responsible for conducting courses and ensure smooth functioning of the
department round the clock and if necessary, initiated measures to improve the working conditions of the department with limited resources.
