Installed full IQ,OQ,PQ validation system to improve speed and robustness of Freudenberg’s new product introductions
Reduced material waste at ConvaTec from 43K to 6.4K per month in one department in 12 months, 657K pa on material costs savings and scoped annualised savings of 2.3m site-wide
Improved yield of fastest moving product at Advanced Medical Solutions from 54% to 92% by using Six Sigma techniques to correct process alignment
Re-engineered a fully documented system delivering 20% increased productivity and 40% labour cost reduction on Alfred McAlpine project, equating to a saving of 555K per annum
Responsible for stock rationalisation to near sized welded components and bills of material cleansing to standard modular builds at Plaxton Coach & Bus, with a total of 10M in savings
Developed an integrated transparent bilingual system for Hong Kong Electrostatic Limited on a giant schematic diagram on one wall of the factory. This visually impactful system gave visibility to operators, management and audit bodies alike on matters of scheduling, progress reporting, training, and quality.
Managed the start-up of China’s first videodisc factory for Philips Du Point, making it self sufficient within one year, whilst also identifying other key improvements and savings in the UK

Aligned supplier process for improved line speed, capacity and shift utilisation, output, yield and downtime by 5.6%, 5.9%, 6%, 10%, 12%, 13% & 61.5% respectively at Freudenberg Nonwovens
Introduced APQP to improve speed of change process and time to market for new products and implemented lean manufacturing principles to reduce packaging consumables stock at ConvaTec
Saved 657K pa material costs from Six Sigma projects and steering changes through change control and validation, and reduced waste by 125K pa driving automation of hand packing ops at ConvaTec
Reduced the complaint response time from six to one month at Advanced Medical Solutions, down by 46.6% and also reduced material waste by 333K pa by correcting the root cause
Improved the yield of polyurethane membrane from 300-350m p/shift at Advanced Medical Solutions, saving 90K pa, and saved 540K proving supplier liability on a consequential loss case
Reduced costs of 80K pa and cycle time by 65% at Bespoke Channels by placing interactive questionnaires onto the MS Access database (also reducing paperwork and time)
Set up production support systems for QA/QC, spares and raw materials reordering at Philips Du Pont ‘s Chinese JV and saved 65k pa using team skills and Six Sigma methodology to reduce silver usage
