Career objective
Looking for a challenging position of the Plumber Resume the reputed University with a view to use my wide experience for the benefit of the organization.
I am a fully qualified and Gas Safe registered plumber working for Gentoo Group Ltd. I am a hard working individual and work well on my own and very well as part of a team. My current job demands that I work well, both in a plumbing squad, a site team, or individually, working to a strict programme. I do not yet feel that I am ready to stop learning and wish to progress my career to a more professional level or to a higher standard given the opportunity and seek a more stimulating and challenging environment.

Current
Occupation: Plumber (Gas Safe Registered)
Employer: Gentoo Group LTD.

Duties:
As a plumber working for Gentoo I have been lucky to gain wide experience on a variety of tasks. I am currently working on their extensive modernisation programme across Sunderland and its outlying areas. This has given me excellent skills in customer service, dealing with the very best tenants through to the more demanding of people that require a great deal of tact. You are often relied upon to overcome the many problems that can arise from modernising older homes, tenants, other trades etc. The management team will often come to the relevant trades for advice on certain matters.
I spent just over a year working for the Gas Control department where I was responsible for repairing and servicing gas appliances in both tenants and private homes. We also had to attend reported gas leaks and other faults after the supply had been turned off by Northern Gas Networks (Transco). Again I was on the frontline of customer service for the company.
Another large part of my time at Gentoo was working on various new build sites first and second fixing properties.
Note: All three of the areas I have worked in have allowed me to gain experience in all trades not just plumbing and gas work, especially electrical and joinery.
Both the new build and modernisation schemes mean that I have had to constantly liaise with Project Managers and their teams along with architects, quantity surveyors, etc.
During my time at Gentoo I have also had control of stock for large contracts (up to 60,000/week) and was responsible for purchasing and controlling this stock.

Reason for Leaving:
Unfortunately, I feel like I have gone as far as I can within this company and I am still willing to learn new skills and progress my career to a more professional or higher standard and the opportunities simply are not there.

Previous Employment
Company: Focus DIY
Dates: September 2002- September 2003
Duties:
While I was at Focus I was also at Derwentside College full time studying for my A-Levels. This shows both my commitment to learn and to my work ethic.
While I was at Focus I was responsible for the kitchen and bathroom departments and also their sundries such as tiling etc. My duties would include sales of kitchen and bathrooms, assisting customers in the design element if they needed help, maintaining stock levels and informing management of what needed to be ordered. I also needed to see the whole sale process through, for example, if a kitchen was sold I would need to go through it with the customer, then take payment for it and enter it into the computer system and arrange a suitable delivery time and then pack the order ready for the delivery team.

Other jobs:
Before I started college I worked in Pimpernel, a factory that made table accessories such as table mats, in the summer after leaving school to gain some money before college.
During my first year at college I worked many nights, Saturdays and Sundays in a town centre shop for pocket money and this was a job that could fit around my studies and help support me.
Thank you for reading, if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me by phone, post or E-mail.
