Maintenance Assistant.
My main role is to maintain holiday accommodation and public areas including grounds. I deal with customers first hand and addressing any problems they may have as quickly and professionally as possible. From a broken toilet seat, burst water main to a heating system that is faulty. The skills required to fulfil my role include carpentry, plumbing, basic electric and the ability and knowledge to trace and fix fault. As evidence of my dedication and commitment, on my day off each week I attended college to better myself with plumbing knowledge and qualification. This was an ideal situation as I could put into practice what I had learned, and gained an NVQ level 2. I am currently studying level 3 plumbing and will soon gain Water Regulations Certification.
