Initially employed here as Classroom then Teaching Assistant (TA) through to Higher Level TA (HLTA). Accountable for providing support and guidance, on a one to one basis and small group basis, while gaining experience of working with extreme behavioural issues. Qualified to Higher Level Teaching Assistant in 2005, adopted a range of strategies in line with school policy to establish a purposeful learning environment and promote good behaviour and started teaching ICT to children in Key Stages 1 and 2.
Promoted to Network Manager in 2007; accountable for the overall management of ICT throughout the school in terms of maintenance, administration and future strategy as well as the ongoing analysis and utilisation of IT assets. The main responsibilities of this role include:
Managing IT network infrastructure, servers and workstations.

Spearheaded a project to replace the school’s curriculum server, UPS, ICT Suite hardware and PCs in 20 different locations and dealt with all associated technical, financial and logistical issues.
Managed numerous projects from inception phase through to finalisation of hardware replacement & software installation.
Designed and delivered staff ICT training. Further planned the delivery of ICT to all children.
Rewarded with Head TA position due to outstanding contribution and knowledge after specialising in behaviour management.
The first staff member to be recommended for HLTA assessment.
