Strategic Analyst, Scotia Gas Networks,   Sept 2009 - present
Working within the strategic planning department, my duties involve designing and planning reinforcement and replacement projects to protect the quality of gas supply to customers, analysing emergency connection requests and if necessary planning reinforcement works following through the project to completion. I liaise with the relevant Operations Teams to ensure the above work is on schedule and completed on time. The company is ISO 9001 compliant.
 
Network Validator, Scotia Gas Networks, Oct 2007-Sept 2009
Working within the planning department team, my duties involved validating gas network models to ensure that the models accurately represent reality using gas network modelling software. I produced reports to give an overview of the results and areas for improvement including liaising with the Operations Teams to complete investigations and secure a safe gas supply to all customers. 
I was the first contact within SGN for dealing with Local Council’s enquiries. I dealt with 130 District Councils with responsibilities including making representations on SGN’s behalf to proposed Planning Documents and dealing with individual requests for information.
