CAREER INTENTION
Based on my previous knowledge in General / Internal Medicine my immediate plan is to get in Core Medical Training Program in UK in order to flourish my previously acquired knowledge and to be able to be considered for specialty training in future .I also intend to do some clinical audits and research work and publications. I am also preparing for MRCP Part 1.

EXPERIENCE
1.Duties: Daily ward rounds, writing dialysis prescriptions, supervising hemo and peritoneal dialysis, airway management in cardiac arrests and trauma alerts, CCU ward rounds in cardiology, teaching medical students, general medicaloncalls, outpatient clinics, high risk ETT supervision ,insertion of double lumen catheter(femoral, subclavian).Taking active part in family meetings breaking bad news or addressing their concerns
2.Skills Gained: Ultrasound guided central venous access (IJV and femoral), Arterial lines (radial, brachial, femoral and dorsalis pedis), Endo tracheal intubation, dialysis double lumen insertion, chest drains and airway management. Beside these I can manage normal vaginal deliveries obs & gyneacological emergencies , eclampsia and assisted obs & gyneacological surgeries like C/section, vaginal and abdominal hysterectomy and vaginal repair procedures
Tilt table testing, NGT placement in stroke patients, care of unconscious patients.
Management of neutropenic sepsis, Bone marrow biopsy and trephine biopsy.
Palliative Care and breaking bad news to patients and relatives, team work and organization due to reduced numbers of junior staff, Lumbar punctures.
COMPUTER SKILLS
MS Word, Excel, Internet and Power Point.
Trained in counseling patients on medical and surgical disorders and breaking bad news.
I am a much organized person with a friendly attitude and easy to work with. I have the courage of taking responsibility for my actions and I can cope with stressful situations very calmly. All of these qualities make me an effective and efficient team player.

I enjoy listening to music especially instrumentals, guitar and flute being my favorite instruments. I also like watching movies.
Keeping me healthy through exercises like aerobics and yoga has always been one of my favorite indulgences.
