Position Engineer (Construction) Internship
1. Directly supervise and communicate with different engineering discipline sub-contractors on the progress of projects. 
2. Involved in the punching and closing out operation of a tie-in spool onshore construction work.
3. Participates as a member of project engineer’s team writing work procedures and progress reports on different projects.
4. Prepares Permit to Work on different construction works like hot tapping, working at height and mechanicalhandling.
B. CAKASA EPIC OIL AND GAS SERVICES NIGERIA LIMITED Sept. 2007- Oct.2008
Position: Project / Field Engineer.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
1. Pipeline laying and pump mounting on flowlines and general site construction supervision.
2. Design new products from conception, redesign existing ones, develop and install or modify existing equipment for new purposes. Proper data management using access data base management.
3. Prepare purchase orders and prepare products specifications for clients with proper invoicing.
4. Strict adherence to standard working flow with proper safety and health measures in the site.
5. Ensures quality of project in cognizance with the ISO 9001 procedures and writing work procedures.
6. Makes sure that schedules are prepared each day and milestones achieved with resource management.
7. Study drawings and generate bill of materials (BOM) required for pipe erection, fabrication and piping works.
8. Reviewing design and preparation of material for project milestone take off and HAZOP analysis.
9. Project monitoring and evaluation with proper report as regards progress of the projects assigned to.
10. Bid, Bill of quantities, Invitation to tender preparation, tender preparations for both commercial and technical pre-qualifications requirements.
11. Supervise and co-ordinate daily activities of the welders, fitters, grinders and other artisans required for fabrication works. Drafting work flows on day to day activities in the site.
12. Ensure that proper procedure and industry standard like API 650 are followed in tank erection, equipment installation like pumps, valves etc.
13. Supervise the entire test required to ascertain quality work like Non Destructive Testing (NDT), Hydro test, and Radiography. 
14. Using Microsoft project software and Primavera to set milestones, schedules and monitor project progress.

PROJECTS ACCOMPLISHED TO DATE ON THE COURSE
1. Using MATLAB software to generate a programme, simulate graphs and perform matrix calculations for determining the Touch Down Point (TDP) on a J and S Lay pipeline respectively .(A Subsea 7 Project, 2010). 
2. Risers Design, Mooring and Advanced Hydrodynamics: Using FLEXCOM software to configure, generate a model for the configurations of 4 and 10 inches risers, establish their initial hang-off from the FPSO, with their sag bend and hog bend elevations, also using the pipe datasheet to determine the Damaging Pull, Burst Pressure and Bending Strain. (An MCS EPIC Project 2010)
3. Using MathCAD to model 2 * 2 matrices of umbilical cables and transformers, and then multiplying them to provide an expression representing the complete network.
4. Design of a Subsea Pipeline Transporting Condensate from a satellite Platform to a processing plant on the Topside in the North Sea using PIPESIM software to develop the compositional model of the hydrocarbon phases, adding aqueous phase to the compositional model and identification of the Hydrate envelope. Considering industry codes like API, ISO, DNV and BS 8010 (A Schlumberger Project, 2009).
5. Design specification of a subsea control system with the Bill of Materials (BOM), using INVENTOR software, with analysis on the installation of PLEM, PLET, Manifolds, Wellheads, Umbilical, Flowlines and Risers. (An Aker Solutions Project, 2009).
6. Design and Sizing of a Subsea Hydraulic Power Unit and Umbilical in a return Reservoir of a subsea field. (An Aker Solutions Project 2009).
