Support and supervise the Admissions, Exams, Attendance and Data Administrators. 
Discover the benefits to the College of any new SIMs releases and produce training material and/or conduct training sessions. 
Problem Solving using SIMs as the solution. 
Provide Support to all staff with any SIMs queries. 
Supervision and preparation, production and analysis of Student Progress, Target and Form Tutor Reports for 2000+ students. 
Preparation and submissions of School Statutory Returns. 
Provide statistical data to the Senior Management Team, Heads of Department and Heads of Year on Progress, Attendance and Behaviour. 
Analysis of Exam results for SLT, Teachers and Statuary Documentation. 
 
STATEMENT 
 
I am proficient in the use most of the packages within SIMS - Performance, Assessment Manager, Profiles, Exams, Attendance and Lesson Monitor, Options and the reporting engine, with a reasonable working knowledge of T6. I am currently in the process of training our Year Managers and Lead Tutors in the use of the SIMs Home, by individual visits and an organised training session since the introduction of using Lesson Monitor to log Behaviour incidents and Achievements. 
 
I provide telephone support to the staff when they need any help in using the SIMS.net database or any other package should the IT support department be busy. I have always worked very closely with IT Support in this position. 
 
I have been using Office 2007 for the past year, with the rest of the College having it rolled out over this Summer, and have been giving telephone support to those staff members who have experienced trouble with the new look. 
 
I always strive to be efficient and enjoy finding ways of improving how things are done. I enjoy being challenged and I am always working towards deadlines and I enjoy working as a team. 
 
I have a keen interest in IT to the extent that I built a computer at home. I have taught myself many PC and MAC packages over the years. 
WORK HISTORY 
May 2004 – March 2007 - Data Administrator – Collingwood College 
Input of all data collection forms, chase missing registers from the electronic registration system, and maintain set changes for students throughout the year, inputting the timetable data and production of timetables for students for the new academic year – Promotion to develop new MIS position. 
April 2002 – May 2002 - ICT Classroom Assistant – Collingwood College – Head hunted to work with the IT department to develop the Data Administration involvement with the School’s database which was changing from DOS to SQL. 
1997 – April 2002 – Managing Director/Office Manager – PLAN-A-YEAR Ltd 
We manufactured a unique copyrighted design of Year Planners and Calendars supplying the commercial stationery industry. I was solely responsible for running the business. I provided Customer Service and Sales support, I sourced print, print finishing, packaging material and transportation. I produced originated all the designs and advertising material on a MAC DTP ready for printing. I maintained the computerised accounts package. Our some of our customers were Banner Business Supplies, Guilbert UK, Spicers Wholesales, Viking Direct, Barclays, Lloyds and Shell. We turned over 600,000 in our last year. – Business was sold

1987 – 1990 – Director/Office Manager – PLAN-A-YEAR Ltd 
I provided all the Office support for Plan-A-Year and two other businesses running from the same premises, including Bookkeeping, Customer Service, Wages, DTP, Mail shots and exhibitions. – Left to have twins 
1984 – 1987 – Senior Branch Administrator – NM Schroder Financial Management Ltd 
Processing of Life Assurance and Pension applications. One of my duties was to make new consultants familiar with the administrative side of the business. To aid this process I designed a manual to train them which they could also use as reference. Just prior to my leaving, this manual had been implemented throughout the Company. – Office relocation from Camberley to Reading.

My first duty was to set up their headquarters in Camberley, by helping locate the premises and source the office furniture fixtures and fittings while working from temporary offices.
