Looking for a challenging position of the Limousine Driver Resume the reputed University with a view to use my wide experience for the benefit of the organization.
Marriage Status: Married with two sons.
Standard Secondary Education; Wade Deacon High School, 1973 to 1976.
I consider myself to be a hardworking individual, a reliable and conscientious worker. I am able to be flexible in my approach to work, and adaptable to my environment. My work experiences have enabled me to develop many transferable skills and perform effectively when under pressure. My motivation has let me build up an excellent working and customer relationships. I have excellent time management and can organise, plus prioritise my own work load. Employment History ( Starting with present day ).
Employer: Hardacres Funeral Directors, ( Dignity ).
Dates: June 3rd 2008 to present day.
Duties: Has a limousine driver my duties are:- To clean limousines and make ready for
the days funeral. Sent out to pick up the deceased from the hospital Mortuary/
nursing homes and home removal. Pick up paperwork from the coroners office.
Preparing and dressing, lift and carry the deceased into the coffin. I have
repaired the palls. I give a clean and tidy appearance and conduct myself
in a composed manner for a limousine driver whilst giving excellent
customer care to the bereaved family in the limousine.
Employer: Mersey View School.
Dates: September 1997 to July 2000.
Duties: I worked in my younger sons special needs school, I was a teacher assistant and
yard supervisor. My Duties were:- Working closely with the children, they had
mild to severe behavioural problems. When on yard duty I channelled the
seniors behaviour by organising football games. My other duty was a classroom
assistant, working closely with the teachers organising children class work.
Employer: Derby and Rathbone hall. ( Job 2 ).
Dates: October 1993 to March 1996.
Duties: I worked in the university students hall, in the catering department. Duties
were:- I was required to serve the students their meals, keep work area clean
and tidy. I was given the responsibility to work in the kitchen stockroom, organise
the stock delivery, signing delivery invoices, rotate food stock on shelves.
Employer: Aigburth Peoples Hall ( Job 1 ).
Dates: March 1993 to March 1996.
Duties: Barperson. Duties were:- Serving drinks to customers, keeping bar area clean
and tidy, changing beer barrels, checking spirit stock. Demonstrating a non
judgemental approach when listening to customers. Every Wednesday I was
given the responsibility to work unsupervised and run the bar. When calling
time and customers left, I shut the bar and proceeded to check stock on shelves
and replenish. I till up and count takings to tally with till receipts, and replenish
till float for the next shift.
Employer: Securicor.
Dates: 1992 to 1993.
Duties: Securicor - A part of Group4 Security. My security guard duties were:- I was a
static security guard at Richmond House, a building that run businesses of a
legal profession. Working 12 hour shifts, beginning with front desk duties, 7 am
start by opening the building to allow post to be delivered and sort out post for
each of the solicitors offices. Acknowledging and remembering office staff
arriving to work. Dealing with runners from other solicitors office delivering
legal documents. Dealing with customer/clients enquiries and appointments.
Giving excellent customer care and service. Working alongside the caretakers
when implementing a fire drill test, liaising with the emergency services,
ensuring all the office staff were at their designated meeting point. When I
started the evening shift, I lock building down at 6pm, some office staff worked
late till 9pm. Then I will go on my evening rounds every hour, swiping my timer
key on all levels of the building through the night till 7am change over.
Employer: Allcar Services.
Dates: 1980's.
Duties: During the 1980's I worked with my brother inlaw for a company called allcar
services. Duties were:- Pick up vehicles from the docks, check documents and
registration. We prepare vehicles, clean them, check they have their required
parts ie spare wheel, jack, tools etc. And any personal items the owners sent
with the vehicle, any items missing would be written down on the docking slip
and sent back to the shipping office for an internal enquiry. The vehicles would
be filled with petrol ready for their journey. These vehicles were mainly army
personnel vehicles ie ( private cars ) shipped from America and delivered by us
to their army barracks in the uk, ether by driving the vehicle, or transporting
them on a 7.5 tonne transporter. The tachograph of the 80's is primitive to what
it is today. And would require a training day to upgrade my tachograph
procedure to enhance my performance for the required level of your company.

1988 to 1989: Baird College, MV1 Motor Vehicle Course.
Hobbies: I have keen interests in playing snooker and pool, reading, and spending time
With family and friends.
