Career objective
Looking for a challenging position of the Financial Consultant Resume 2 the reputed University with a view to use my wide experience for the benefit of the organization.
PROFILE
I am a fully qualified mortgage advisor with CeMAP qualifications since 2000.
I am currently employed as a Mortgage Advisor based in a corporate estate agency
chain.
My role involves sourcing and converting mortgage leads from the sales
negotiators into mortgage and protection business.
I also coach and motivate the team to improve and increase the business.
I currently use the Mortgage Trading Exchange (MTE) to source and place mortgage
business and have around 20 lenders currently on the panel available to me.
Protection is placed via Aviva or Santander.
I trained as a Mortgage Advisor with Halifax Bank (HBOS) and was employed by
Halifax for 17 years placing/underwriting mortgage business solely for Halifax
until I was transferred under ‘TUPE’ to Your Move Estate Agents when they
purchased the Halifax Estate Agency Chain in January 2010. I then re trained as
a broker to use the MTE and Your Move systems.

I started with Halifax Building Society as a part-time cashier in 1993,by 1997
had been trained and promoted to full-time Mortgage Advisor selling Halifax
mortgages along with mortgage protection and household insurance. I also sold
all the banking products - current accounts, credit cards, personal loans and
savings accounts.
In 2001 I was trained to sell Life and Critical Illness protection provided thru
Halifax Insurance.
In 2005 the bank and Estate Agency office businesses were split and since this
time I worked in both businesses.
In 2010 I transferred under TUPE to Your Move.

February 1993 I worked with my husband running our own Milk Round business while
my children were very young.

I joined Lloyds Bank from college as a Grade 1 junior clerk worked my way thru
