In August 1996 Oldfield opened a Ready-to-Wear store in Brook Street, London W1. I worked between both the Ready-to-Wear and the Couture, which worked well for Couture Clients coming to the Ready-to-Wear store for the first time.

Making adaptations to the designs (i.e. adding a sleeve, changing of a neckline, colour and fabric of a garment);
Consulting with Brides and reviewing sketches, fabric and attending fittings;

Sadly, the Ready-to-Wear store closed in July 1997 and I returned to Beauchamp Place couture store on a full-time basis.
