March 2008 – Present RollingSounds (Part time)

Teaching assistant in Music Technology and DJ’ing. Working with students to enhance their understanding of the various tools used in both Dj’ing and Music Production. This has given me an excellent understanding of various software programme’s such as Cubase, Reason & Sound forge and good knowledge of equipment used in a studio set up.

March 2008 - August 2008 (ON GOING AS REQUIRED) DI AUDIO

Setup of equipment ranging from loudspeakers to mixing boards. Through this role I gained experience of LIVE set ups in clubs and concert venues. I used a whole range of equipment including EQ’s, Compressors, Crossovers & Limiter Gates plus many more and feel this has given me a good grounding in the sound field.

September 2005 Jeffrey Commissioning Services

I enjoyed my work experience here working as an assistant commissioning engineer because I got to learn new skills and different methods of how heating and ventilation equipment works. I also learned about important health and safety issues on major and minor construction sites and got to meet a number of different people and I got to work in a range of different buildings.

2008 – Present City Of Westminster College City & Guilds Music & Sound Engineering

I am currently studying city and guilds diploma in Sound Engineering and music tech at City Of Westminster College and hoping to further my career into the sound industry.

2009 – 2010 City Of Westminster College H & D Music & Sound Engineering

I have just finished studying an H & D at City Of Westminster College.

In this course I gained a Distinction which is equivalent to an (A).

March 2008 -July 2008 Newtec College Adult Numeracy & Literacy

I studied Numeracy & Literacy in which I gained a OCR level 1 certificate in both adult Numeracy & Literacy

November 2007-April 2008 Silver Arts Award

The Silver Arts Award has two units –Arts Practice and Arts Leadership. The award involves completing an arts challenge, reviewing arts events, researching arts careers and pathways, and leading arts activities.

July 2007-November 2007 Bronze Arts Award

The Bronze Arts Award is a level one qualification, and has one unit – Enjoying the Arts. The award involves taking part in the arts, going to arts events, researching an arts hero or heroine and sharing your skills with others.

My hobbies and interests are working in studios and live sound. I thoroughly enjoy my time working with sound systems/engineering in studios or in a live sound environment; I also have my own pa/studio equipment. I am also a DJ/Producer and looking to also further my career in this and any other aspect of Sound production/engineering. I also enjoy designing and building my own speaker cabinets alongside engineering.
