Career objective
Looking for a challenging position of the Electronic Engineer student Resume the reputed University with a view to use my wide experience for the benefit of the organization.
I am a highly motivated individual who enjoys a challenge and remain committed to any task undertaken. My career interests have been based in the technical engineering fields and I intend to further develop my skills and career in this industry. I have full British Passport and I am eligible to work in this country.
SKILLS PROFILE
Communication
Although my native language is Russian, I am also fluent in English, Polish and Ukrainian. My experience as a MarineEngineer for Latvian and Estonian shipping companies and Maintenance Assistant for a long established UK Department Store has helped me to develop excellent communication skills. As a result, I understand the importance of the need for good communication when working in a team environment and dealing with customers.
Team Skills
While I enjoy and am capable of working as an individual, I equally enjoy working as a team member. As a member on a ship, complete cooperation with fellow crew is essential as the success of the company is dependant on this. And on the extreme end of the scale, lives may also be at stake.
During my time at Napier University, good teamwork was important in enabling me to achieve a First Class Honours in an Electronics and Electrical Engineering Honours Degree.
Organisation and Problem Solving
I am well practised in task prioritisation and problem solving. Included in the responsibilities as a Marine Engineer was the need to organise and supervise the tasks of crew in engine room. Any problems arising often required using initiative and efficient decision making to ensure they were solved quickly and effectively.
