Looking for a challenging position of the Dental Surgeon Resume the reputed University with a view to use my wide experience for the benefit of the organization.

I am highly motivated dentist with many years international experience in

Sweden, Germany and UK. I worked in state, as well in private Surgeries.

Now I am looking for a long time Associate position or short time Locum.

 

Working experience since qualification:

From July 2009 until Oct.2010 I worked in steyning dental care in Steyning, West Sussex. I left the surgery because of less Good administration as well chair assistance. Owner Mr. Mazdak Eyrumlu , Southern Dental ltd. ,Corporate.

Between this and the previous dental positions I was ill and had to undergo three Abdominal Vascular operations, Now I feel well and since July 2ing 3 miles three times weekly. From Jan.2011 I am jogging the distance 3 time weekly.

From January 1990 to January 2006 I worked in Germany as an Associate Dentist in four different surgeries which ware mixed and Private. I had to relocate partly from private reasons, partly because the health system in Germany changed dramatically which on the end brought me to UK. 

 

From September 1978 to December 1989 I worked in my own surgery in a village with the name Allendorf, about 50 miles north from Frankfurt am Mein

In Germany .I converted an old school to a very nice Dental Practice with two surgeries, equipped with everything needed new .Later I added a dental Laboratory and employed Dental Technician. Educated trainees for dental nurses. Did all kind of dental work, please see bellow.

Reason for leaving: The population in Allendorf(around 1000 people ) could not support a full time dentist in the long run, even when added the next village with around 800 people. The both villages ware located in a valley with another two more villages on the north end of the valley. To cut off the outflow of the patients going to the closed located town to the 

North I applied to the Authorities to open a second surgery in the north part of the valley , in the most north located village, but received permission for one year at the time only, which did not give me the security for additional large investment. This was the low in Germany at that time. Without a second surgery on a permanent basis, I decided to leave the area.

Overview of job: General dentistry. I received an invitation from Dr Dr Heinz Jungholt of Bremen, Germany, to relocate from Sweden and work in his surgery. I relished the opportunity to work overseas. I adapted soon to the German dentalsystem ,the way of working ,to the language and the new environment . I did the usual dental work which I did in Sweden.

Overview of job: I secured A position in a clinic in Kristinehamn, Sweden, with a Specialist in Orthodontics and 10 general dentists. Under the guidance of the Orthodontist, I did simple Orthodontic treatments on children as well as normal work such as check-ups, fillings, endodontic therapy, surgical therapy prosthodontics, periodontal treatments, gnathology and preventive dentistry

Reason for leaving: to emigrate to Germany.

 

Education:

1968 -- 1970 The University of Uppsala, Sweden reading Biology, and then transferred to Gothenburg University.1971 -- 1975 Gothenburg University, reading Dentistry. My university Studies included VT approval. I left with full state qualification, ”Legitimerad tandlaekare” (As a Dentist).

 

Professional Career:

Restorative Dentistry: Composite, Amalgam Fillings, fissure sealants, Full and Partial Dentures, with clasps (cast or bent) with attachments, with telescopic crowns with bar attachments. Crowns, Inlays, (gold, ceramic). Bridges . Full mouth rehabilitation.

Periodontal Dentistry: Pat. information, Oral Hygiene instructions, cleaning and checking the cooperation of the pat. When qualified, taking full X - Status, Perio status, elimination of all subgingival tartar and concrements, rinsing with Corsodyl, elimination of pseudo gingival pockets, Info .again ,repeating of what can be done and depending on the level of periodontal illness, curettage or flaps of the gums or combined, cleaning, bone correction , root-hemi section, root separation (when needed), gingival deep pocket elimination, gingival recontouring etc. One jaw per session. Periodontal check-up`s every three months and professional cleaning.

Endodontics: the conventional, lateral condensation method with gutta-percha and tubli seal or AH Plus, manual or the rotary techniques with NiTi instruments. I have worked also with termofil. I newly visited seminar for BioRaCe root filling system and learned why and how to use the new fillings material Resilon.

 

Surgical Dentistry: I am doing almost all types of tooth and root extractions, operation of impacted wisdom teeth. Root apicectomy with retrograde filling, Root separation on molars rothemisections, Pre-prosthodontic surgery, when needed etc. I feel strong in surgery.

Occlusion: Diagnostic, Occlusal adjustment when interferences, instruction for muscles relaxant, biteguard(soft and hard) and checking every three months.

FIBREDONTICTS: Fibre Reinforced Composites, for splints. core and posts bridges etc. ASAP I will visit a two day course in Belgium to widen my knowledge

IMPLANTS: Courses by Straumann in Switzerland in the 80`s. I Have placed some Holcylinder plasma plated implants as well blade Implants, but long time ago. Have made a course by IMTEC Co.: Mini Dental Implant System 2006 in Germany. With a refreshment Implant course I will be able to place Implants again.
