Project Work: The synthesis of various phosphinic acids
The aim my final year projects involved the synthesis and explore different properties of various phosphinic acids which could act as chelating ligands for lanthanide metals. This lab based project required me to use my initiative even though I was under supervision. It also required strong planning and organisation skills. Assessment of this project required power point presentations and poster presentation which boasted my communication and listening skills.
