Reporting to Global Service Director, Collections (USA).
Responsible for direction and supervision of the day-to-day operations of Regional Credit and Collections for all IHG Divisions, franchise hotels, managed hotels and vendor partners.
Direct and oversee the centralized regional collection process to maximise cash flow and minimise bad debt while maintaining customer relations.
Demonstrate expertise in assessing and responding to contractual, financial/accounting transactions, informational and customer service needs.
Define, implement and monitor standards and policies to ensure adherence to GAAP, IFRS, agreed global procedures, regional business requirements, statutory governmental regulations, and SOX requirements to minimize liability and risk.

Manage, develop and motivate a diverse team of 13 credit controllers by leading, training and coaching. Ensuring the team actively demonstrate client and customer focus, and build positive relationships.
Responsible for a customer base of 35,000 accounts, consisting of blue-chip, major retailers to Sole traders. Processing of approx 23,000 invoices per month; large volume of relatively low value transactions.
