2007-2009 Construction Superintendent: Foster Wheeler Energy Limited 
Ineos, Ethylene Plant, Grangemouth refinery, Scotland. 
The Managing Consultant responsible for the upgrade to the existing Ethylene Plant. 
Supervising and monitoring the construction and productivity of all the Contractors on 
site, plus all the associated pipeline construction, relating to the off plot facilities. 
 
2006-2007 Construction Superintendent: Foster Wheeler Energy Limited 
Glaxo Smith Kline-Pharmaceutical Plant, Montrose, Scotland. 
The Managing Consultant responsible for the refurbishment of a redundant 
Pharmaceutical Plant, bringing it back on line for the reintroduction of Adacaivir
 
2005-2006 Mechanical/Piping Superintendent: Worley Parsons Europe Ltd Kazakhstan 
My position as the Mechanical/Piping Superintendent was to control the construction of a 
Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWT), for a Sour Gas Injection Plant Project. 
This consisted of supervising the erection of the buildings, installation of plant equipment, 
and the fabrication of all the piping relevant to the installed units. 
The work force was of Hungarian and Kazak nationality, using this work force we 
constructed the plant through to the testing and pre-commissioning stage. 
 
2004 -2005 Construction Manager: Essa Engineering & Marine Services L.L.C –U.A.E (Ajman) 
This was the managing of two projects: 
The first was the Ajman Sewer Project which consisted with the full installation of a new 
gravity feed sewer system, through out the complete city of Ajman, excavating to a depth 
of 7.5 meters, with the water table only being at 1.2 meters, this was accomplished by 
using a dewatering system, with well points and booster pumps to control the water table. 
The Second project was the construction of a Desalination Plant, pouring all the foundation 
for the mechanical equipments, and the construction of all the relevant building for the 
running of the plant. 
 
2003-2004 Construction Superintendent: Saipem Indonesia 
As the Consortium leader, our position was to oversee the fabrication and installation of 
the piping and equipment, for two new Wellhead Platforms (SWP & MWP), this included 
monitoring the work for the final installation to the platform, and seeing that it was 
installed in accordance to the required specifications. 
 
2001-2003 Field Superintendent; Enelpower / Enel Group-Dubai. 
Managing consultant responsible for contractor supervision for civil and 
mechanical works on behalf of the client during the construction of a 
Power and Desalination plant. The project consisted of installing ,Three 250MW
gas turbines and two 150 MW Back pressure stream turbines. 
Other works consisted of a water treatment plant,132 kv control 
Building/132kv switchgear building and connecting pipelines. 
 
 
2000-2001 Construction Superintendent; Hawk International-Yemen 
This project consisted of supervising the construction of major oil 
pipelines from wellhead locations to main gathering stations. The scope 
of work was as follows; civil and structural work for main gathering 
station, civil works on right of way. Stringing and welding of main lines, 
followed by hydro testing of the completed system prior to hand over to 
the client. 
 
 
1998 -2000 Field Superintendent; Saipem Contracting Ltd- Nigeria. 
This project consisted of civil and mechanical construction work for new 
Gas metering stations. Also controlling hot taping operations into existing 
live oil and gas pipelines. Working in swamp and bush locations laying 
major gas and oil pipelines from wellhead to designated gathering stations. 
 
 
1997-1998 Area Superintendent:Dynarabia-Aramco-Saudi Arabia 
Managing consultant responsible for contractor supervision for 
civil and mechanical works on behalf of the client during 
construction of a Bulk Plant and Pipeline Distribution Project. 
This consisted of Transfer Pipelines, Storage Tanks, Pump Transfer 
Facilities and Control Building 
 
 
1995-1997 Superintendent: Bechtel International- Project GL1.Z
Renovation Project, Algeria. 
This was a hands on project, supervising the fabrication and 
erection of all piping on the upgrading of six L.N.G. TRAINS. Also 
taking the Lead Piping Superintendents position on a complex 
shutdown. 
 
 
 
PERSONAL PROFILE 
 
 
SUPERINTENDENT time served in construction, fabrication and welding to A.P.I.1104 standard with 
extensive hands on experience of all types of construction particularly petrochemical and 
Pharmaceutical plants, oil rigs, pipelines, gas separation plants, nuclear power stations and national gas 
conversion programme (UK to North Sea), gained in the UK and overseas. Reliable, conscientious and 
very hard working with proven abilities in the supervision, control, instruction and motivated with a wealth 
of experience in practical “on-site” problems solving and troubleshooting. Able to work well under pressure either as a member of a team or on own initiative with the minimum of supervision. A good organizer and planner deriving great personal satisfaction from the rapid completion of any project 
and with a belief in leading by example, maintaining a high level of team spirit among associates and staff 
by fostering a pride in workmanship and a sense of achievement in others. 
 
 
 
OBJECTIVES: 
 
Having a deep commitment to the construction industry, primary objective is to continue working in 
a supervisory capacity on demanding and challenging project anywhere in the world. Preference is to join a company, which will offer increasing levels of responsibility whilst making full use of technical 
Knowledge, and practical skills to achieve a level of workmanship. 
 
 
 
INTERESTS: 
 
Generally fairly widespread, but in particular I enjoy most sports, with active participation in golf, and swimming, taking a pride in maintaining good physical fitness. I also enjoy tackling a wide variety of DIY 
and maintenance projects around the home, deriving great satisfaction from the application of manual skills to achieve high level of workmanship.
