Looking for a challenging position of the Construction Laborer Resumes the reputed University with a view to use my wide experience for the benefit of the organization.
I am a reliable, hard working individual with a positive and optimistic approach to life and work. I work well under pressure and take pride in achieving a high standard in all that I do. I have worked in most Warehouse departments including; Picking/Sorting; Stock Taking; Packing and Shipping; Bonded Warehouses; Delivery/Collections and all aspects involving Transportation; Location and storage; Fork Lift Driving etc.
EDUCATION 1979-1984 Achieved 4 `O' levels & 4 GCSE's. St.  the Apostle RC Secondary School, London SE15.
CAREER HISTORY
2009 (March until now) - I am a single parent to my 15year old son. 
2003 - 2009 Contract work: 
Laboring (Skilled and UN-skilled)
IT Tutor to beginners and intermediate users. 
Working on Railway Lines, repairing contracts and 
Underground tfl work.
Several warehouse agency contracts.
Construction/ Civil Engineering Work.
1998-2003 Contract Civil engineering - skilled and UN-skilled.
During this period, I worked in the civil engineering industry and in construction/demolition environments. I have used most machinery including power tools and general day-to-day tools necessary for each type of work. I received all necessary safety tickets and fire safety certificates. I have also worked temporarily on the railways and underground. I learned all the time and achieved many different goals within this type of employment.
I have been a banks man. I have done lots of ground work and piling, working with dumper trucks and concrete/cement mixers; cutting and burning work; welding/paving/road work; painting contracts and hod carrying for brick layers. 
1994-1998 Co stain/Taylor Woodrow Batcher/Pump man
Jubilee Line extension on the batching-plant and concrete pump a major part of this Government contract, vital for any underground tunneling. All day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the plant was essential to ensure concrete was tunnelled underground for 24 hours. Communication with a line of miners and workmen was essential for production. Many other tasks and jobs on different sections at all times were undertaken. A high pressure job working to targets at all times and pushing hard, a big money contract.
1992-1994 Dolby Laboratories Packing and 
Warehouse contracts. 
I worked for Dolby packing and storing/locating for export of their products. All warehouse duties including sorting, packing, loading and unloading, stock control etc. My warehouse knowledge was gained from having worked in shipping with constant liaison between warehouse and Transport. I know this environment very well and worked very well during spells of Warehouse type work.

After leaving school I started in the Air-freight and export/import shipping industry as an export clerk. All aspects of the export Industry starting with airfreight and forwarding all types of cargo by sea and overland. I dealt with the general public and commercial businesses from start to finish. Arranging included, collection and deliveries into the warehouses and bonded warehouses and the put into locations for re deliveries and exportation; all warehouse duties were involved from end to end including all packing and completion of all the various documentation required. Customs procedures and airport clearances, bookings, quotations, post-flight confirmations, storage, all necessary computer work and invoicing; banking and cash transactions; ordering of stock via different networks; typing and telexing; telephone from origin to destination and keeping up to date with an ever changing industry.
