This role is within the premiership working for a sports broadcasting company, with constantly changing parameters and goals such as; manufacturing equipments used within the company: fibre installation throughout stadiums: building the servers and broadcasting trucks and fitting all the infrastructure within the vehicles: rigging the camera positions, testing and linking all the cameras back to the truck and repairing where necessary.

Oct 08–Mar 09 Detachment Telecommunications Engineer / Iraq
Managed four communication sites, installed a complete working V-Sat and the Promina backbone system linked into it, along with a complete voice exchange.
Frequently dispatched to repair and install critical systems necessary for senior management and intelligence cells to communicate securely and effectively back to the UK.
Repaired faults and carried out difficult repairs and installations and always found a solution to restore the service to the end users.
Worked in two different locations in Iraq during a 6month deployment initially responsible for three communication sites with no outages occurring longer than 24 hours.
