(Offshoot from RMR)
RMR plc was going under when was asked by the Multimedia Manager to be the Creative Lead within a new agency - together with the Account/3D Manager. Retaining a few clients and through word of mouth they developed a steady workflow. Attending initial meetings with the Multimedia Manager to take the brief and submit design proposals. In the last months has completed the branding for a range of stores in Portugal + looking into locations for 5 stores in the UK, presented a branding proposal for the Council, developed two Government information Portals with a range of marketing material for the B2B & B2C sectors. The Multimedia Manager sees more money in the e-leaning sector while the Account/3D manager has not contributed the others had hoped = it’s the right time to call it a day & look for a fresh challenge.
Mar 2000 – Apr 2002: Senior Graphic Designer RMR Plc, shire
RMR plc had 3 key online development areas: Conferences, Community and Corporate. joined to develop the corporate sector (while floating over and producing what was needed on other key areas) as when he arrived the development teams were struggling to deliver existing Community projects so it was a case of jumping in to bring them together so that deadlines were met. Responsible for the presentation to new clients and the delivery of Creative/Illustrative work on projects while managing teams to ensure each sign-off stage was met in the development of the project. worked for leading Agencies in London & shire, in the areas of Print, Branding, Direct Marketing and Point of Sale. Used to adapting to the different structures within, while developing strong solutions – One week he would be in a DM Agency working closely with copywriters & the following week in a Branding Agency assessing what was working/wasn’t & creating the solutions that would attain market position – Clients included: Asda Stores, UGC/Unipart, Rover, BMW, Vodafone, Holsten Pils, BT, Microsoft, AA, Bass Brewers, Seven Seas, Fairfield Graphics & Wilkinson Stores.
