Looking for a challenging position of the Apparel Designer Resume the reputed University with a view to use my wide experience for the benefit of the organization.

Please accept this as a letter of application for the 3 months DESIGN INTERNSHIP IN YOUR ORGANISATION. Prior to my last year at Institute of Fashion Designing, I would like this opportunity to further develop and hone the fashion skills which I have gained over the past two years. I would enjoy gaining this experience. Aspiring fashion designers can learn these necessary skills of the Design Process through internships with design or manufacturing firms.
During my college studies I have gained good knowledge of fashion industry, clothes, textures, color combinations and designs. As you can see in my resume I am one of top ranking students in the institute. During my college years I have developed some designs for women party wear clothes which were very appreciated from my professors as well as others. Won 1st prize in Fashion Show held in 2008 during 2nd year in 4th Semester for ‘Indian embassy.
I have attended many continuing education courses through my involvement with professional organizations and have volunteered and attended lectures at the Fashion Designing every year. Through externships, research and participation in fashion designing organizations, I have used my time in fashion designing school to gain exposure to all branches of fashion designing. While I am confident that my education and experiences have prepared me to enter the world of fashion, I am excited about it where I expect my learning to increase exponentially into the future.
